Registration and Cancellation Policies

Course Registration

Cosmetology Educators, Inc. requires all course registration to be in writing.  Course registration may be completed with a credit or debit card by calling our office (512-446-4601) or by cashier's check or money order through regular mail (CEdTx, 3856 CR 412, Rockdale, Texas 76567).

Full payment is due at the time of course registration. Forms of acceptable payment are credit card (by phone), cashier’s check or money order payable to CEdTx. Personal checks are not an acceptable form of payment. Any checks received will be returned and registration will not be accepted. Registration for each course will end three (3) days prior to the scheduled course date.

Cancellation Policies

Refunds - Cosmetology Educators, Inc. does not accept refund requests.

Tuition Credits- Cosmetology Educators, Inc. does accept tuition credit requests.

• All tuition credit requests must be made in writing, no later than three (3) days prior to the scheduled course date.
• Tuition credit requests made by phone will not be accepted.
• Tuition credit requests may be delivered by email (info@cedtx.com), or by regular mail (CEdTx, 3856 CR 412, Rockdale, TX 76567).
• Tuition credits are non-refundable and may be applied to any course of equal credit hours for one (1) year following the date of issue.
• Tuition Credit Vouchers will be mailed each Thursday following the scheduled course for which a credit has been requested.

No Refunds or Tuition Credits– Cosmetology Educators, Inc. will not issue tuition credits under the following circumstances:

• No tuition credit is available if Attendee does not cancel, in writing, within three (3) days prior to the scheduled course date.
• No tuition credit is available if Attendee does not show up for the scheduled course.
• No tuition credit is available if Attendee arrives to class late or leaves class early for any reason.
• No tuition credit or refund is available if Attendee attends a course and is dissatisfied with the presentation or content. We strive to schedule the highest quality educators and present course curriculum that has been approved by TDLR.

Cosmetology Educators, Inc. reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any course at any time. Courses with less than 20 people prepaid ten (10) days prior to the scheduled course date may be cancelled or rescheduled. Tuition credits will be handled appropriately.

Continuing Education Guidelines

Cosmetology Educators, Inc. operates under approval by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation as a Cosmetology Continuing Education Provider (#1319). Registrants will be required to meet each of the following guidelines in order for CEdTx to report continuing education (CE) hours to TDLR.

Participation – to qualify for CE credits, registrants must:

• Be registered in a course of their choice.
• Pay all fees in full prior to the start of the course.
• Check-in at registration desk at least thirty (30) minutes before scheduled start of course.
• Present TDLR issued license with license number before start of course.
• Present valid photo ID (driver’s license or other legal form of identification) before start of course.
• Attend all scheduled sessions.
• Fully and actively participate in the course.

Procedures – to qualify for CE credits, registrants must:

• Sign in at the start of each session.
• Attend at least 50 minutes of each hour of scheduled session.
• Submit a Course Evaluation Form at the end of the course.
• Retain a copy of the Certificate of Completion for two years after the date of completion
